Currently, Olga’s studio is full and she is not accepting new students. Olga is offering 30, 45 and 60 minute private violin lessons as well as three levels of private music theory classes. Contact to inquire about availability and rates for 2024.

Throughout more than 16 years of teaching experience, Olga has worked with violinists from wide variety of backgrounds and skill levels with different goals. From students first discovering the violin, to advanced students preparing for orchestra and college auditions, or anyone in between, Ms. Dragieva will nurture and guide them down the best path to develop their musicality, grow their potential and reach their individual goals. Olga is a member of the Independent String Teachers of Madison, which provides students with free access to workshops, performance opportunities and other educational resources.

  • Currently Olga maintains a private studio of students conveniently located on the near-west side of Madison.

  • 2013-2019, Violin Instructor at Music con Brio which is housed at Emerson Elementary School where she taught partner and group lessons to students from 1st through High School, prepared students for recitals and Community Concerts in collaboration with a variety of classical, jazz and bluegrass groups from the Madison area.

  • 2013-2015, Teaching assistant at University of Wisconsin-Madison in the studio of David Perry where she led studio class on occasion, and prepared materials for the Orchestral Excerpts class.

  • 2010-2013, Project Assistant, a member of the Graduate Hunt Quartet, with which she visited 18 schools and reached more than 2000 students in the Dane County area from kindergarten through 5th grade, performed concerts and taught about the elements of music.

  • 2006-2010, Teaching Assistant of Professor Carolyn Stuart at the University of South Florida-Tampa: she had her own studio of Undergraduate students, taught violin lessons, led studio class, coached chamber music groups and lead violin sectionals.
