Hi, I am Olga!
Thank you visiting my page! I have been involved in Interior Design for many years. As a child I loved sketching fashion designs, and exploring art and art history. When I moved to the United States in my 20s, I became even more interested in Interior Design. I wanted to make my apartment feel like home thousands of miles away from where I spent my childhood. I loved the inspiration I felt when flipping through hundreds of interior design magazines and coffee table books.
In 2018, my husband and I, with two close friends, bought our first investment property — a charming Swiss Chalet in the U.P. of Michigan. As we started improving it, I realized how much I was enjoying thinking about the design—picking furniture, paint colors, layouts, and all of the small details that go into making a house feel like home.
COVID was the next event that boosted my desire to pursue Interior Design more formally. I started my Instagram account @olgadinteriors where I share daily design inspiration and shopping finds. I took a course to learn the CAD software Sketch Up, where I built a whole house from the ground up in 3D. I have also continued designing virtual rooms—I have around 250 under my belt.

My Design Philosophy
Design needs to work in a way that makes you feel at home as well it being a reflection of the people who live in your home.
I love to gather inspiration from nature, travel, art and architecture, but your home should be unique and authentic to just you. I take some cues from designs you love but mostly i want to understand your taste and preferences. My only goal is to create a space that you feel truly reflects your family and lifestyle. Your home should represent your history, taste, hobbies and interests.
